The National COSH is sponsoring a one-day conference entitled Current Issues in Construction Safety and Health on Friday Nov. 6 in Philadelphia. The conference will take place from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm at the Holiday Inn Historic District, 400 Arch St.

The conference will address issues such as

• Roadway Safety
• Health Hazards in Construction
• Tower Crane Safety Initiatives
• Reaching Smaller Contractors
• Issues for Day Laborers and other Immigrant Workers
• Solar Panel Installation: Safety First?
• Teaching OSHA 10 and 30 hour classes
• Mast Scaffolding
